HISTORY

The company was founded in 1966, with HOECHST technology and has had at the beginning , the name of “Synthetic Fibers Factory” and, subsequently, by the capacities extending, the name of “Synthetic Fibers Works”, being the greatest polyester producer from Romania.

As following of the legislative modification arising after 1990, the whole patrimony of “Synthetic Fibers Works” has been transferred to the joint-strek  company TEROM, thus founded.

Now, the company has statal major capital.
